Kate's Meditation Space

"The thing about meditation is: You become more and more you." - David Lynch

This is Kate's meditation space of our website!

Recovery Dharma Family and Friends is honored to have a professional certified meditation facilitator for our meetings.

Kate co-created our Family and Friends Sangha, and has volunteered and lead meditations for almost three years with her practice of gentle compassion and mindfulness.

Each week, Kate crafts a unique meditation to meet the needs of all attending our Sangha. We are grateful for her presence and service,

A bit more from Kate:

Her suggested reading for Family and Friends is Standing at the Edge: Finding Freedom Where Fear and Courage Meet by Joan Halifax.

Kate goes on to add, "In life, we can at times feel like we are standing on the edge with dangerous waters. In these edge states we choices to live life compassionately and courageously. This book by Roshi Joan Halifax is extremely helpful when you are on the edge. or have been there to approach it from a Buddhist perspective."

Need a quick meditation? Kate suggests Bryon Katie at Insight Timer. Kate continues to say, "Byron Katy's work offers a grounding sense of clarity, blending compassion with the quick unraveling of our inner struggle."
